CAMPING SEASON KICK-OFF WITH PUDGY PIE DEMO

The Pudgy Pie Guy held the first pie iron cooking demo of the season at Kohler-Andrae State Park on Saturday, sponsored by the Friends of Kohler-Andrae State Park.
About 50 people attended the demo to learn more about cooking with pie irons and most decided to give it a try. Three loaves of bread later we had made dozens of pudgy pies from pizzas to macaroni and cheese to Ruben's. For some it was the first time. Others were there to take their pie iron cooking to the next level.
One lucky attendee won a drawing for a cookbook published by Rome Pie Irons and another won a Toas-Tite sandwich toaster. Many thanks to Rome Pie Irons and Toas-Tite for donating the giveaways.
